Tute 1, part 2

Intellectual property is an idea, invention or process that derives from the work of the mind or intellect, (Merriam-Webster, 2011).  This property can be registered to protect ones thoughts and work. Something I should have thought about when a work colleague & I created systems for the work place a few years back. Meaning that becasue it was work related we shouldn't have put so much of our own thoughts into creating the system we thought would work the best but, then only we knew what wwould have been the best process,, so it would have defleated the purpose really. Interestingly the first registration was made in 1845
